took me quite a long time to get into the forum and then to find my way around, but am getting used to it. Think it will be much better than the old one when I am used to it! Jan x

Like everything else, it will take time to get to like this new Forum. It seems strange but the Format is very similar in style to other Forums I write on. There could have better programming to allow permanent set up of accessibility for peeps like me who don't like small fonts - having to set my preferences every time I write is a pain.Bob Bob

One of my main concerns is the PM facility. I understand that, although the message cannot be seen by other users, they can be seen by the web hosts and presumably the NRAS team will also have access to them. If this is correct and you are discussing anything "sensitive" my advice would be to e-mail through the normal channels. Can anyone throw more light on this, please? Love Jeanxxx

I can't use Explorer, so still have the rigmarole of going through several pages.............guess I will get used to it, but really too tired to be bothered to fight my way through it all very often. Am concerned with the privacy issue Jean raised, any news on that please? If anyone is in contact with Barbara D'G, please tell her the blanket should be with her, by courier, on Tuesday, hope she will be in as it won't go through the letterbox. Lylie, can you copy and paste the Home page address and put it in your Favourites? Then you should get straight onto the Home page to log in when you click on it.

I find this site to be more complicated to navigate and cannot find members blogs which I was participating in, so cannot update my information. This appears to be a change for change sake and as can be seen, it does not stop the problems that were taking place on the old forum. Also I am listed as a Newbie who joined on the 12/4/09. I have been a forum member for three years.

Alan, we are supposed to be getting a link to the old forum as soon as they can set it up. The old posts did not transfer with us onto the new forum and we are all listed as joining on the date the new forum started. I don't know if this might be altered sometime or not.

I finally got into the new site today, so am catching up. What I want to know is why I'm a newbie? I joined NRAS in 2003, so where do these ranks come from? I feel most indignant! How do I get to "advance"? it sounds like the army! When can I be captain?!!

PS - where's my photo gone? How do I get it back? I feel completely like the new girl in school!
